Dr. Breanne Facey

Dr. Facey graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry in 2011. She was honoured to be selected by her peers as the Valedictorian of her class. Prior to entering optometry, Dr. Facey completed her Honours Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Western Ontario in 2007. Although Dr. Facey is well versed in full-scope optometry, her specific optometric interests include vision therapy and rehabilitation for both children and adults. Dr. Facey is a Clinical Associate of the Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEPF) completing the OEPF Clinical Curriculum in 2015. This series of specialized post-graduate courses taught the theoretical background and clinical practice of behavioural optometry and vision therapy. In 2017, Dr. Facey achieved board certification in the practice of vision development, vision therapy & rehabilitation when she became a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (FCOVD). In March 2020, Dr. Facey acquired ownership of the practice. She is proud to be a female business owner in the downtown Burlington community and looks forward to growing Perspective Vision, welcoming new patients to her practice. In her time outside of the office, Dr. Facey is actively involved in the greater Burlington community, working to engage fellow young professionals in the downtown core. Dr. Facey loves spending time outdoors with her husband and daughter. You may spot them downtown enjoying gelato at the Burlington Waterfront, or enjoying time at the park!
